We worked with Tesla to reinvent the car-buying experience with a strategy focused on digital interactivity and educating prospective customers about Tesla’s advanced electric powertrain technology and vehicle engineering. Tesla launched the Design Studio in 2011 to allow  consumers to customize, view and share their Tesla on the web, on their smartphones and iPads, and at Tesla showrooms, making the buying experience flexible, engaging and interactive.

Visitors to the Design Studio can choose hard top or soft top, paint color, interior design, wheels, and more. When done, they can view how their will look and share their design via social media channels or email, or place an order.  In the showrooms, staff are equipped with iPads to walk prospective customers through the process and explore their options, allowing them to “throw” their design to a large screen at the back of the store with a swipe of their hand to see their vehicle at any angle.
